We frequently volunteer at the Thurston County Food Bank food distribution warehouse. So far this year we have over 94 hours of community service at the food bank. We are so proud we serve our community and are an integral part of it. We have also volunteered at the Sacred Heart Clothing Bank with over 80 hours of additional community service recorded there.

Our next volunteer opportunity will be 30 October 2024 from 10AM to 12 Noon at the Thurston County Food Bank Warehouse Distribution Center (2260 Mottman Rd SW, Tumwater, WA 98512).

Service Project Scope:  This is an ideal project for our organization.  Project is inside warehouse, so there are no weather concerns.  No special skill set is required.  No heavy lifting required, so organization members with physical limitations would still be eligible to fully participate.  Please wear comfortable clothing with closed-toe shoes (no sandals or flip-flops, etc.).  High visibility safety vests (provided at warehouse) are required.  Also, must pre-register as a volunteer on the foodbank website (this is a one-time requirement and on next volunteer project you can just sign in at the warehouse).
